NEW 1000B4K READER! Congratulations to Finley Walkling!!!!! He was very excited to get to check out books and use his new Valentine Public Library book bag full of great books. He even found some books about dragons!! He is the son of Dakota and Kayla Walkling. He is our most recent bookworm to complete the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge. WAY TO GO!!!
Can you believe it? We are over one hundred. He is number 104!!! That makes 104,000 books that have made an impact on childrenβs lives. We are so grateful for families who make reading a priority for their children and instilled a love of reading & learning. We congratulate this family for reaching this milestone. We are grateful for parents and caregivers who take this time and are so proud!
We continue to say, the commitment made by the parents to these little ones, establishes a reading pattern that will hopefully last a lifetime.
