🎄Yesterday’s ornament-making event was so much fun, with 19 creative kids creating holiday magic! 🎅 They decorated plastic cups with colorful markers and watched them shrink into unique, one-of-a-kind ornaments—just in time for the Christmas season. ✨ It was especially heartwarming to hear parents share memories of playing with Shrinky Dinks when they were kids. ❤️ It’s always fun to see the joy of creativity span generations! 🏆 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 🏆Today we’re stepping back to 1934 with a photo of the Valentine High School “V” Club Members! 📸 According to the Sandhills Century Book, the “V” Club was established in the fall of 1922. It began when 11 boys met in the newly built high school gymnasium to rename the Valentine High School Athletic Association. From then on, the “V” Club became a symbol of school spirit and athletic achievement. Every year, a certificate of participation and the coveted letter “V” were awarded to boys who took an active part in school athletics. The first initiates into the V-Club were Howard Colburn, Ralph Shaul, and Courtney Hurlburt. 💪 Were you or someone in your family a proud member of the V-Club?
