DESCRIPTION:Join the Friends of the Library Pumpkin Decorating Contest! \nGet creative and show off your pumpkin-decorating skills in our annual contest hosted by the Friends of the Library! Whether you’re a kid or an adult\, there’s a category for you. \nCategories & Prizes:\n– Pre-K\n– Grades K-2nd\n– Grades 3-5th\n– Grade 6th-Adult\n– Best Literary Inspired Theme\n– Best Overall \nRules:\n– Pumpkins must be real (no pre-decorated or store-bought pumpkins).\n– You can paint\, decorate\, or carve your pumpkin—get as creative as you like! \nImportant Dates:\nDrop Off Your Entry: October 28-29 at the library.\nThe Friends of the Library Board will judge the entries at 5:30 pm on Tuesday\, October 29th.\nWinners Announced: On VPL’s social media and at the Halloween Kiddie Parade on October 31. \nNote: All entries must be picked up by 5:00 PM on November 1 unless prior arrangements are made.
